Michael Evans is a graduate from Boston University with a Bachelor's in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Phil Acimovic is a graduate from Tufts University and has a Master's in Music Composition.

We are Michael Evans and Phil Acimovic, the founders of Music For New Ears, a nonprofit organization. We compose music for deaf individuals who use cochlear implants to hear. Our mission is to help cochlear implant users enjoy music, by creating music specifically for them and the unique way in which they hear the world.
