At the early age of 9 Jeff Fortin began his musical journey, studying classical violin through his school age years. At 14 he joined the Cobb Community Symphony and played in front of President Jimmy Carter opening the Cobb Civic Center in a grand gala event. After High School he decided to try a different path as the Bass Player for a touring Rock Band, opening for such acts as Fog Hat, The Dixie Dreggs, Riggs, Kicks, Reverend Horton Heat, Etc. After the Road he pursued his professional career and got his Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Warren National University in Wyoming. Shortly after that he started his business career and became an Associate Distributor Lecturer for Anthony Robbins, Facilitating and Teaching the Power to Influence Sales Mastery Course, Jeff trained many large Companies Sales Teams such as IBM, Xerox, ATT, GM, Coldwell Banker and many More. With Music in his blood he still felt the need to entertain and started his Very Successful DJ Business in 1990. Working with such agencies as East Coast Entertainment, Jay Goodley Entertainment, VIP Entertainment, has DJ'd Thousands of Shows and hundreds of Weddings. Along with his own successful business he also is the National Sales Manager for a Multi Million Dollar Company based in Rhode Island called Alesis, a Manufacturer of Pro Audio equipment in the Pro Audio and DJ industry. Managing Sales in the United States has enjoyed a highly successful business career consistently exceeding sales goals for the company. The idea for You DJ iT comes from experience in the field as well as a vast knowledge of the Entertainment Industry.
