Problem:

How many times did you meet a local contractor or a simple consumer saying, "I will never go into Home Depot or Lowes again", their service is bad, they ****, I love the local shop, they know me by name, they greet me with a smile, the deals I get are not the best, but I don't care, I need service, I need somebody who knows his stuff. In the major chains, people come in and get confused there is nobody to talk to…….

What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?

We will seek investors to build superstores nationwide with brand recognition, but the departments will be owned by individuals rather than corporate. The plumbing department wil be owned by a professional plumber etc. It'll beneficial to everybody, the owner will have a reputation of a major corporation with a huge buying power and in return corporate will benefit from having a professional taking care of business and making feel the customers at home. Cashiers will be handled by corporate, and charge a certain fee. The shopping experience will be like Home Depot but without the big loop holes.
