with children as a focus, i support this idea wholeheartedly! my only concern is that children are being pushed into the busine$$ world. are 'our' children or future slaves, becoming our big business focus? are they naturally interested in becoming entrepreneurs or is their some adult influencing the influential, in areas of consumerism, instead of core values, Ie: spirituality, seeking hidden understanding &/or being youthful, playing, running, staying/eating healthy, balancing 'seated/stagnant' computer time with intense childlike activity? we MUST be careful NOT to let our modern popular society run away with 'what is' an inborn nature: to live long & prosper (the human being) not only prosper what business(es) the human being is efforting to be successful in! if we are not care…moreful of this, the evolution of the societal mind will change MORE than it already has. children are more obese than in the past five decades. technology can loosely be seen as the cause of this mistake, on the part of those influencing youths. thanks for posting this idea. i do hope you win & will consider what is at stake, because the 'CHILDREN ARE WHAT' the future is about & it 'MATTERS' not, if their health is poor or what they are involved in if they influence more ignorance, physically "&/or" mentally! someone caused the terrorist to be the terrorist & it was not, likely, other children, but a succe$$ driven influencing-adult. pace the peace~! inione.
One of the most refreshing important idea for anyone, let alone kids to start their financial education and gain confidence and financial freedom early. What a wonderful thing it is to see such a worthwhile organization that is concerned with the education and future of our children. I know we can't save the world, at least not this week; but, we can still continue to always make a difference in the lives of others, especially children. Simply put, this is a world of business and finance. This is what is so. Therefore, why not invest in helping those that need it most- our youth. Let's continue to help one another become stronger through education. Being a product of one's enviornment; it is essential that adults as role models, utulize all avenues available in entrepreneurial and investments opportunities in preparing our youth in order for them to be able to compete in a highly skilled technological world, which necessitates that one be diversified in many areas as possible, the Searight organization is serving as a much needed vechicle in preparing our youth to cope with the many complex challenges that r unavoidable in todays world, that r only to become greater eah day, so hats off to this much needed organization thats so invaluable to the wide areas that it serves.
I think it's a wonderful idea, more African Americans need to start practicing wealth building and getting the children involved at an early age. I'm already involved in Tony's program and all of my children know the importance of investing in companies, like Nike since they put money in their company already.They also have started learning how to be kidpreneurs, my son and his friends have a handyman service, my daughter has started baby-sitting and my other daughter is looking to start selling homemade baked goods. A good book to get your chilld interested in becoming a entrepreneur or investing is "Rich Dad Poor Dad for Teens" also check out Tony's site and get your child involved Today!!!!!
