Idea Description
Create a website for people who have lost loved ones in the Iraqi war. Imagine a collection of "love letters" written/spoken by Iraqis and Americans to their loved ones who died because of this conflict. Give the surviors a space to express their grief and sadness through a love letter. This can be a sacred space that will demonstrate that the power of love is universal no matter what religon, ethnicity or political persuasion one may be. If we can understand that we all basically feel the same towards our loved ones we can begin to heal.

Hire a web designer to build the site and make connections to bring the stories to the site. I want the site to be authentic and healing. Right now my only requirements for the participants is to begin to tell their individual stories with Dear ______ . I want a designer that will build a site that can capture these love letters through the voices and images from the survivors.

I like this idea because it shows how people are connected. It gives people an opportunity to care for one another and share information about their loved ones, which is so important for the healing process.
