  Mass email may be your best bet for creating some attention. However to be more specific you could try posting advertisements in socail databases like craigslist and face book. After all, the favor points is the product you are selling.
  I would also try community newsletter. If favors build trust and community between people, this may become a valid resource.
  However, I would also strongly advise for the website a way people can keep track of each other. This could include favor database systems where each person has an account with a list of favors completed and a favor ranking or rating depending on how good they did their job.
  Remember, this idea could become a very niche market item, so starting at a local level may be more beneficial than trying to link up a person who in France with a person who lives in New Jersey.
