Idea Description
There is a unique demographic of people who are not currently being taken care of by traditional banks. I will create a credit union that offers products that will help rural and lower income families, including those in the agricultural business. Some products would be: group term-deposits, lower interest auto and mortgage loans based on successfully passing a budgeting and credit awareness class. Higher interest checking and lower interest trade lines. Accelerated debt payoff programs and accounts. There are many other ideas that would be attractive to those people who have given up on their bank.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
The next step would be to get the members needed for the credit union paperwork to be filed. I have a number of business associates that would be acquired when the credit union is formed, the have extensive databases of "a" clients. The $10,000 would be used in a campaign to educate them on the benefits of joining our financial institution.
