Idea Description
The idea is aimed at alleviating the aweful experience of:
1) having to sit on a disgusting public toilet seat, and
2) lifting a disgusting public toilet seat in order to pee in it.
So, this is a toilet seat that automatically goes up after every use. That way, every new user is introduced to a lifted toilet seat. This will prevent people from peeing on the toilet seat, which will in turn, allow those who want to use it for number 2, to enjoy a cleaner derrière. (They can simply lower the seat using the 'foot method.')
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Develop a prototype, patent it, and talk to whirlpool, american standard, whoever else operates in this industry.

I mean whats worse than going to the office bathroom, and finding little droplets on the seat. This is a nearly everyday discomfort for me. Plus, I think $10,000 could actually get this idea off the ground. The prototype would probably cost very little to create, and a demonstration would be a powerful marketing tool. Lets clean up public restrooms once and for all!
Shouldn't you have a button that releases the toilet seat so people don't have to rely on the "foot method"?

I remember a couple of years ago I was at a large airport, I don't remember which one, but they had a cool thing, you might look into and see if you could improve the idea, it was a toilet that had a liner around the toilet seat, everytime it was flushed a new liner would automatically roll out. I thought it was cool, I haven't seen it since, maybe the liners were expensive, but you maybe be able to pick up where they left off, and design a better one. Good luck with this idea.
