Installation of locator beepers on home electronic devices in order to retreive misplaced remote controls.
What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
Develope a locator for remote controls for home devices requiring a remote such as TV's, DVD and CD players similiar to the ones used on some cordless phones. An activation button on the front of the device could send a signal to the remote so that it beeps until located. A remote that is hidden from view could be found easily if within range. This would be an inexpensive addtion to the unit but would ultimately be a crowd pleaser as this is a common problem.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
As the technology is already available, a prototype would need to be developed and then marketed to home electronic manufacturers.
