Cool.! .tv is a great domain name extension. Wish you well. Especially like the idea with Apartment hunting. You could direct the Apartment Manager to make the video in distant cities, or across time, weed out the bad ones, and/or show up at the place and show the manager that "you" know how to market and video tape it. You could send over the internet what a "good" video would look like, and pre-sell your services.

Very cool idea. Playlist needs to be fixed to show the property, not the url. You should look into Tivo's SDK, (http://tivohme.sourceforge.net/) if you can get this on Tivo you'd be golden.

This is a *good* idea, but not a world-changer. To compete with the other real estate websites out there (which you have astutely identified), particularly in this market, you will need more than a music video tour to really jump the curve and take it to the next level. Here's a meteor: how about live video tours where you interact with a broker who's actually on a cell phone and there is a mobile webcam behind her. You tell her: "Show me the crawlspace" and she tells the camera man to get in there. "Show me the plumbing under the kitchen sink". She gets under there. Now that's awesome functionality b/c you can talk to your wife or roommate offline if you want to b/c you're not actually there with her. Even more interestingly, you could tour 3 houses in 3 different citi…morees in one night if you coordinated with the broker properly. Just having **** video doesn't get you ahead of the pack. But I think its a great launch into something that could be awesome.
