Life Coach for people who have had Bariatric Weight Loss ...
Life Coach for people who have had Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery
Idea Description
With Obesity now being recognized as a disease and more and more people electing to have some kind of Weight Loss Surgery, I believe there is a need to have access to a "Life Coach". This would be someone who can guide the patients as their bodies change and help them match their self-image and confidence with their new outward appearance. This would include exercise and dietary advice as well as advice on dress and grooming based on body type. Also, most importantly, recognizing triggers that might sabotage their journey to permanent weight loss and how to overcome them successfully.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
If I won $10K, I would immediately enroll in school to become a Life Coach with emphasis on Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery patients. I would then set up a business and provide workshops with Bariatric Weight Loss Centers for Excellence as a consultant to their patients as they embark on a journey to a new body and new healthy life. I would be able to work also with Deaf clients, since I am a certified sign-language interpreter.

Q1: I don't know exactly how to go about getting this type of training and what it would entail to start a business like this. Any advice would be welcome.
