Idea Description
Design a two-step (or two-speed) faucet that helps cut household water use by 30% or more. When using a faucet it is common for users to turn it on all of the way, most likely not thinking about it. How about a faucet that when opened, defaults to half open the if a user wants more water they a required to intentionally open the faucet all of the way. Great way to save water, particularly hot water and the energy used to heat it!

Find a design engineer to partner with. Look for utilities (with demand-side-planning funds) who are interested in funding further design and testing.Research faucet manufacturers who have a focus on "Green" products or services.

I like this idea, i was thinking pushing it to bring out part of the presure, then if you need more, push it again.
