Finding a way to have the U.S. Gov't invest in U.S. citizens interest, instead of protectecting Corporation interests.
Idea Description
The amount of money, resources, and legislation devoted to protecting corporate interest has now come to an all time high. No longer is our government enacting laws to protect and server the citizens who pay their high salaries. These government officials from all parties are not serving the people they represent. We have ALL lost sight of the responsibility of our government! When did it become ok for our tax money to be used to enact legislation that would benefit a company instead of an individual?
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Well, in all honesty, $10,000 wont get you much in the world anymore. Of course, it would take MUCH MORE MONEY to expose our government for the money stealing individuals they are and represent and make some serious changes. Maybe I would invest the $10,000 to spread the word and ask the American people to begin a peaceful revolution against our government in all branches of offices. It's time to clean house!
Vote for it now.

What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
I like your idea, I agree and wish we could do something about the fact that corporations are not treated like people....
I have a simple idea, vote libertarian!
Please be so kind and return the vote, good luck! Stevo Perisic
The government would shut me down in a second if I put this idea into motion. Which is why I would need funding from socially conscience corporations who have the same power and access to government officials who are not afraid to stand up for what is truly right for the American citizen. Instead of sending our children off to fight foreign wars, which have nothing to do with the citizens of the U.S.A. - How do we benefit again? Oh yes, we get cheaper gas. Hmm... the life of my son or daughter for less expensive gasoline. Let me get back to you on that one. And I'm not talking about Bush. We all know Bush isn't the brightest bulb, and it's not his fault. He's a product of the institution, and it really doesn't matter who's in office, because corporate legislators and lobbyists wi…morell always be the ones in control of the laws and telling our politicians how to run our government. Not only is the apple bad, but so is the entire tree, it's leaves, it's branches, and it's roots. When did it become more important to ask Congress for $20 Billion for an insane war, instead of using half of that to bail out home owners facing foreclosure's - which is at an all time high since the 80s! Or rebuilding Louisiana? Or forgiving the millions of student loans in default? Or just giving the children of this great nation FREE health care until they are 18 years of age? If we could take some of this money, and set up some sort of foundation or even a corporation, with some real power in government to actually represent the people of the U.S. - and not just the rich, but the majority poor & middle working class. Oversea and fight legislation with our lobbyist to do some good, instead of line the pockets of board members and directors of major corporations. Have the U.S. government, break up the 5 media moguls and allow independent media to survive. Investigate the current methods of voting, and prosecute as a criminal action anyone - including the candidate - that interrupts our due process for election. Create public oversight committees to monitor the actions of each elected official. Always keeping them in the public eye, and under public scrutiny. These are ELECTED officials... we elected them... we pay them... we must be able to control them. The senate should not decide where our tax dollars go - we should make those choices, in some sort of quarterly consensus - where the citizens of this country decide where the majority of our county's finances are spent. We can allocate 25% to defense, military, and national security. However, the remainder should be delegated by treasurers elected by the people, and some sort of budget system created to administer the use of federal funds. We can apply 25% to child & elderly health care - that leaves 50% for anything else. Of course, this would also have to be monitored by a different group - elected by the people. This is not going to be easy, and will require A LOT of research, planning, and most importantly powerful lobbyist, lawyers, law makers, legislators, AND politicians to join our fight. However, given the state of affairs of our current government... We, The People, have no control over our own government. They no longer represent us. We are at a stage where we are afraid of our government, and we can't do anything about it. Or can we?
