Apple/ Mac professional onsite customer training and service
Apple/ Mac professional onsite customer training and service
Idea Description
I own a small but growing Apple/Mac (Apple Certified) consulting company in central Florida. We have focused on doing what no other tech company seems to be interested in which is working with all users, whether individual home users or small business. Since we are seeing many, many new Mac users buying their first Macs, or even first computers, we strive to give them any attention they may need to get started on a long term relationship with their new Mac and our services.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
We would invest the money in promoting our services in other areas around our home state of Florida. With continued growth, we could continue to expand our Max Your Macs teams to most any location regionally and nationally. We are continually asked by various users groups and other tech entities to come to their area for support however we are limited by our current size and funds to expand would bring our unique ideas and offerings to many people who have a strong need for our products/services.
Vote for it now.

Q1: Our main challenges involve finding qualified professional team members and havng a strong advertising and operational budget for radio, print and other media as well as funding workshops and clinics.
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, the limited space here doesn't give room to describe all our services in detail but to cover them briefly... Max Tech - Technical and troubleshooting, data recovery, installing new equipment, etc. Max Learn - One-on-one or group learning and education about any facet of the Mc OS and included Apple applications. General use and advisement. Max Welcome - Set up and configure new Mac system and initial consultation and learning session. Max Care - Regularly scheduled or single session maintenance and optimization of your Mac. Think of it as you would a regular tune up for your car.
I think it might help you if you explain a little bit more the type of consulting you are doing. It sounds like technical support is that the case? ...otherwise, I have a sales type question for you: I would like to become a Mac reseller (without a storefront). I happen to sell a desktop application just for mac (a bluetooth marketing product). You can check that out on my profile: http://ideablob.com/users/244 ...But what I'm interested in is getting the cheapest price on apple products. How should I go about that? And do I have to buy them in bulk, or can get them one at a time? What are the smallest bulk amounts? etc, thanks bro
