Create a Modern Online Resource, Store and Chat Forum for Breastfeeding Moms
Idea Description
So many of the breastfeeding support sites today are either medical in tone or look like fringe sites for strange bohemian women.
With breastfeeding once again on the rise, the demand for helpful, modern advice from moms who've BTDT (been there done that) is growing. Additionally, the demand for great products is also on the rise. Honestly there are a lot of worthless (yet still expensive!) breastfeeding products out there. Many women who are first time moms don't know what's good and what to avoid. This site would recommend and sell only the best breastfeeding products available today.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Launch the site with a full warehouse of products. Get a great website designer (instead of trying to build it myself) and higher a marketing consultant for a day to help really make the site remarkable.
Vote for it now.

Its one of man's primal instincts, this should be self explanatory . You don't need support groups to breast feed, my god.
I love this idea, it would be great to have a community oriented bf site. My youngest who will be 3 in November is still nursing :~)
i love it, and i'm a guy! A guy who knows how much first time mothers will love this.
This is a great idea, especially considering how hard this can be!
I think it's great that women are thinking of new ways to be innovative in addition to creating a service provided by women, for women. Keep up the hard work!
Great idea. And I'd have to disagree with bigred1 that breastfeeding is a "primal instinct"--are you a man, or have you ever breastfed? Yes, it's smooth sailing once you learn how to do it, but it can be very frustrating during the first weeks and months of your newborn's life. So many moms actually give up during this period due to lack of support. And why would we want to forfeit something that is so wonderful for our babies? My 6 month old has been a happy breastfeeder and I attribute this to all the support of received. I hope this idea gets a lot of votes. Good luck!
what a great idea!!
