Idea Description

Construct the metal in the cell phone out of an energy transmitting material. This would be perfect for extending the life of a phone or providing a perfect "emergency phone" to keep in your car.

Similar to hybrid powered cars, this device could run on a battery when solar energy is not available but run/charge battery when solar power is available.

This will be especially useful as cell phones become more versitile (combining calendars, internet browsers, email devices) and also much more power draining.

What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?

Speak with hardware manufactures about the costs and potential benefits of this device. Possibly purchase a copyright on the Solar Cell Phone model.
