Attachment Parenting International, a nonprofit, proposes to establish a revolving fund to help prospective parent educators obtain API-certified training. These API instructors can organize much-needed proven parent education in their communities, while contributing to their family income.

Idea Description
API's mission is to educate and support all parents in raising secure, joyful, and empathic children in order to strengthen families and create a more compassionate world. AP nurtures a child’s need for trust, empathy, and affection, providing a lifelong foundation for healthy enduring relationships and well being. API proposes to make its parent education widely accessible to prospective participants with a broad network of facilitators. API's microenterprise revolving fund program will train qualified instructors, help them with planning, and support them with needed business training and materials. Instructors will benefit from API's resources, network of Leaders, and support groups.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
First, API will thank Ideablob and all of its supporters! Then, API will begin a program to take applications from prospective instructors and qualify those meeting the criteria to prepare to begin training. The $10K will serve to cover the costs of the applicants training and materials to get started with their own parent education consulting business. It will also cover their expenses to collect and provide information back to the instructors data about their impact and evaluation. Applicants will be set up on a payment plan to pay back into the fund so that more facilitators may become parent education facilitators. API will promote the program through www.attachmentparenting.org.

If business and industry have their way they would run their companies with no jobs at all no management or labor. To deal with this dilemma I pr…moreopose a federal venture capital carrot fund that literally pays entrepreneurs to create jobs. The investment bank would be expected invest in seed level startup projects like yours and to lose money at a specified dollar per jobs ratio for example during hard times that figure may be as high as $20,000 per job and good times the figure may be as low as five dollars per job, by controlling this ratio the fed could roughly control unemployment. The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another.
