What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
I want to brainstorm with others about how to bring universal health care to reality in the U.S. without compromising the quality of service we as a nation currently enjoy. I'm trying to feed and care for a family of seven on low income and no health insurance. My goal would be to take what we discuss to my Representatives to suggest to the next presidential candidates prior to the major '08 debates, where they could flesh these ideas out to the public, gain momentum into the elections and secure a mandate to follow through in their first term.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would use the money to buy health insurance for my family.

If you do this, you could become president. I have an idea that I have posted, check it out. To me it is the easiest solution to this problem and it wouldn't diminish the quality of care the United States is known for. The real solution is to change insurance as we know it and make the "wealthy" version of insurance available to everyone. (Wealthy people only buy policies with $5,000 or higher deductible because they can pay for the minor stuff, my plan would allow average people to do this too).
