A "Geek Safe Haven" of sorts, with LAN, figures and busts, comics, and group games (D&D, Magic, etc)
What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
A place where fans of the increasingly popular geek culture can gather and share as a community. There will be an area with tables for groups to get together and play D&D, Magic cards, or network laptops, PSPs or DSs. Another area will have a display case counter displaying props, busts, figures, and statues which can be purchased. In another corner of the room will be a set up for LAN where people can subscribe and play World of Warcraft, Counterstrike, Half Life, etc. This could be a host to contests and tournaments. Finally, there will be a cafe.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I think it would be crucial to find a contractor and designer to collaborate with and spend time figuring out the appropriate location and layout so we could approach potential investors with plenty of information to back up our idea.

Interesting.... I especially liked when you mentioned that there will be props, busts and figures around, like little avitars that are real life avitars that you can hold and keep near you while at the center. That is very interesting...
