  I just wanted to say first off great idea but I had heard rumored that microsoft had this idea already in the works. However, I have found no such site or blog that as lead me to believe so. That being said, I would suggest started to find some different ways on the actual patent site to search your idea.

  Remember also that in most cases that a patent only last twenty years and after that, if it is not renewed can be back opened to the public for use.

  the second thing you would need to go is to start formulating some different companies you would pitch this idea to. Cell phone, Computer, or Software companies would probably be your best bet. After this its deciding on a target market and deciding where to test market the idea. The most common is Indianapolis but there are more here is somthing related to the subject http://www.jstor.org/pss/3150050 good luck.

  However, just for kicks lets say Microsoft does not have this item in the works nor has acquired the right to buy it. What then would you do in order to market this product through the right channels in order to get it made.
  first, you would need to make a prototype. Some type of model for your work that would allow a end user to see the validity and final use for your idea. ThIs could include several different designs or just one. Anyway here is a company that could help.
