Idea Description

An example of peer mentoring is when an eigth grader is mentoring a seventh grader in an area that the eight grader feels that they can make a positive difference in the younger students life. It does not have to be academics - It could be soccer, or playing a musical instrument.

This type of mentoring has no specific guidelines as far as time. One student can mentor another student in a different part of the world on the internet. All participants must abide by Character Counts six pillars of character to be part of the pass it on movement.
