  I'm not sure if the card would have the information stored, or if the computer system would and the card would just have the information to access it. I guess either way the card would need a PIN number for extra security. I think this would be a good idea, because you could swipe it when you drop off the prescription and also when picking it up, to verify identity.
  
  I don't see any privacy issues here at all and it might make the transaction even more private actually.

  It stores all your medical information, so I'm sure you could program part of it to tell the pharmacy about your prescription.

  This is a big market opportunity which will require some form of capital to have a widespread impact. You should start building relationships with medical associations if you haven't yet. You can create an advisory board and list of supporters and advocators that will add credibility when you are making those investment pitches.
