Idea Description
Create an open source multivariate web-site testing platform that supports full factorial and fractional testing methods with full support for multiple goals. Google released it's free version that is full factorial but unfortunately it does not support multiple goals. Leaving many people using paid solutions live Sitespect and Offermatica. Solutions that support multiple goals typically cost around $2,500 - $6,000 per month. This project would organize a group of people and create a road-map for development.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Recruit some open source developers that have experience in analytics looking for an innovative and useful project. Map out guaranteed costs associated with building the project in an open-source environment, ie. server, books, etc. Develop a document to distribute to online communities and start breaking the project into modules that can be worked on simultaneously.
