Artificial Intelligence
While other Artificial intelligence designs involve from making the machine intelligent from the get go, my idea is to take make a program that, plain and simply, learns everything, including English. Every thing we know is based off of patterns. It would be for this model of AI as well.
Q1: Would anyone have any tips or pointers for how to get my idea out there!
Idea Description
One of the ways that makes the biological brain so amazing over computers is the vast potential connections among neurons, while computers are linearly constructed. By creating an index of learned associations, the computer can make cross linked associations within its knowledge database in order to gain even newer associations. Combined with confidence levels from statistics and questioning what is fact, AI will be real. The applications are endless. Because its memory can be simply expanded by having more hard drive space. The applications are endless. AI can help solve practical problems. Who knows, It could even solve our economy problems.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Initially, the only input for the program to learn will be via analyzing text through chatting with it, possibly having the program search online for topics and reading on its own. But another even further goal would be to get the program to understand audio and speak through voice synthesis. Comprehension would operate on the same basic principle as text, making associations based off of previously formed auditory associations. This, however, is much more processor intensive, to analyze audio than text and would require fast processing. With funding, this can be made a possibility.
