Private File Xchange
A web service that lets someone to share a file (small) with a selected group of people. The unique feature is that the file is automatically perged once all the receipents have successfully downloaded it.
Q1: Does anyone know of any web service that resemlbles this?
Idea Description
Its a web service using e-mail as the primary medium.
1. Person A will upload a file. Then submits a list of e-mail addresses who are all interested in the contents of the file.
2. The service sends a notification to all teh recepients along with a link to download the file.
3. Each receipent will download the file through the link.
4. When all the receipents have downloaded the file OR if the file has not been downloaded for a long time (may be a week), then A will get a notification of the same.
5. The file will be perged form the server.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Develop the site by giving contract to some web developer. Then launch it!
A lot of pre-processing and post-processing services may be added.Ex: Encryption, Compression, resizing of photos & videos, PDF conversion etc.
Vote for it now.
I don't know of any web service that is like this venture. Are you sure that it is legal?
