Let us make it mandatory for everyone in the country to spend at least 1 hour/month in helping out either the elderly or young children.
We can help is a variety of ways: reading to them, teaching them, helping them in their daily work or just talking to them about general issues.
Q1: How can we make it mandatory ->
My thought would be to motivate yourself first and then involve your family, people from your community, your company and then if possible, the government.
Idea Description
The main idea is to make the less fortunate happy and see a smile on their face which in my opinion is more valuable than Bill Gates and Warren Buffetts combined wealth.
One hour/month is not too much of a time commitment but the value and satisfaction you derive from it is tremendous.
It can be done on an individual basis or the whole family could be involved.
It will surely make the USA a better country to live in and ensure that our population consists of high value driven intellectuals.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Try to help out the young children who cannot afford to go to school.
Also help pay for my tuition fees (I am currently enrolled in a Masters program)
