Every month or 2 months bringing out a magazine with articles about and interviews with musicians from all over the world who aren't signed to a major label and don't get this big support of a big label.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Do promotion, work on the first issue and get in contact with a print shop

Why wouldn't you just start an online magazine or a blog? It would be cheaper and less hastle than printing and distribution and getting all the advertising that you would need to keep it afloat. Best of all, you could save trees...
being a huge fan of indie music and supporting the underdog, i love it. we're doing a similar thing, just using the internet to promote artists instead of a magazine.
