Idea Description
There is a new website I have created out of pure love for contests myself. My problem has always been the popularity type. I don't really have any friends to vote for me like it seems everyone else does so I thought of this concept of a forum where you make friends to vote for you and in return you vote for them. I named it Voter Virus with the concept to "Spread the Vote" however i think it has backfired on me because people are scared of getting viruses on their computer. Well I assure you I personally know there are no viruses on http://www.votervirus.com and it is becoming a great site. The current win rating as of 9/22/08 is 100% of contestants.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I need some serious promotion for the site so that the forum can become something real and I need money for server costs. Mainly I will run a local TV commercial which can run from $13-$50 a spot during a normal day and I have the abilities to create the commercial myself. I will also create some affiliate ads for my site so that I can pay other contest websites to promote me as their support site for it's users. This site is not in competition with anyone only meant to be a companion to everyone. I will also hold a $1,000 contest of my own to drive in the traffic.
