A pillow that keeps it's cool all night long... So you're always sleeping on the cool side of the pillow!!!
What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
I want to always be sleeping on the cool side of the pillow... Creating a Pillow that keeps it's cool all night long, and doesn't allow body temperature to warm it up, would be better to me than one of those memory-foam matresses any day! Nobody would ever have to turn their pillows over to the "cool-side" ever again.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would invest it, and start thinking more seriously about how this could be done without putting a plastic baggy of ice in the center...

Sounds like this one is for seasonal use only. Who wants a cool pillow in Winter? But, not to discourage you. Just keep in mind that more and more, people are becoming more aware of our toxic environment and would be more attracted to a cooler pillow if the pillow is constructed or stuffed with a natural material. Cotton materials have always been cooler than the petroleum-based polyesters, or foams. Look into natural fibers and ventilation would be a key here; maybe the pillow is hollow to allow internal air flow to pull heat away from the body? Hey, this should have been my idea! ! !
i like the next steps if you win. you could always start to think about not using the ice now. maybe some space-age polymers!
I have been sleeping on a buckwheat pillow for over 10 years, and besides the spinal benefits, it does not absorb nor transfer heat, essentially making it allways cool.
