Idea Description
This idea was inspired by a local Middle School industrial arts teacher who had their students make guitars. This great idea of his, could be expanded in couple of ways. Run the class totally like a business. Produce usable items and resell them in a cooperative High School store opened to the public. Items that could be sold would be furniture, metal fabricated items, paintings, ceramics and of course musical instruments. The students share in the profits. Students not only learn manufacturing skills and techniques, they also learn how a business operates all the way to the retail store level. Not all students end up in college, this expanded program would be a win-win for all.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Detail out this business plan idea and submit it to all of the National School Districts. A professional promotional video would have to be produced. There would be no start up costs for the schools involved, since the students are already involved in producing products, reinvestment by selling these items will perpetuate the success of this program. We are losing manufacturing jobs in this country, I feel that this program once implemented throughout the country, will have a huge impact on our economy!
Vote for it now.

Q1: Do you know anyone that would like to donate the time and effort to produce the promotional video? Win or lose, I really think this idea should be implemented!
This could also add a revenue stream to struggling districts, schools, or programs.
