What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
With numerous financial tools and opportunities available to women, it is imperative that these tools reach the hands of those who need them most. Many communities are filled with women struggling to have their most basic needs met. In America, that shouldn't be. It is not the lack of educational resources and opportunities. However there is a need of a vehicle/vessel to reach those women who might not know any other way. We each have the power to change our lives for the better. I have been afforded this opportunity by becoming an Independent Sales Representative and cultivating leadership skills. Any woman's tomorrow can be better with effective education today. That's W.E.'s aim.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
With these funds I would have the opportunity to partner with local housing authorities, community centers, and support agencies to provide workshops/semiars, and resources to the targeted population. This will require funding for materials (paper, workbooks, guides, etc.), room rental fees, and other necessities for women (transportation costs, child care during seminar, assisting basic needs when necessary,etc.). Funds may also assist women in pursuing further education/training (tuition), clothing for interviews even possible assitance with start up cost for new business ventures. These monies could also help me to reach a more women in my community than I would be able to do otherwise

The investment bank would be expected invest in seed level startup projects like yours and to lose money at a specified dollar per jobs ratio for example during hard times that figure may be as high as $20,000 per job and good times the figure may be as low as five dollars per job, by controlling this ratio the fed could roughly control unemployment. The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another.
