Simulated/Interactive Travel Agency
A travel agency with individual rooms within the store. Each room would provide the customer with a real life experience with the product, be it a certain cruise line, hotel, or resort. It would go way beyond what videos and pictures provide. It would simulate you accomodation as closely as possible
Idea Description
This would be a travel agency that would function a lot like a store. At a store, you can go in and see and feel the product before you buy it. Same sort of idea here. There would be an individual room for each "product" (a certain cruise line or resort), that would simulate the actual product. If it's Carnival's room, it would be set up to match as exact as possible a room on one of their ships. The TV would play videos to demonstrate their destinations and/or other areas of the ship. The beds and bedding would be the same as it would be there. Travel is one of very few products that you can't try before you buy. This would change that.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
The money would be used to get this idea off the ground (rent, furnishings, office supplies). It would bring the travel agency that I currently operate from home into a visible storefront in my hometown and hopefully inspire other agents to open similiar stores in their area.
Vote for it now.

Q1: When considering where you will stay on a vacation, what's the most important factor in your decision? Beds, bathrooms, amenities, anything else?
I remember seeing something very similar in which you can take 360 degree virtual tours of a room. I was wondering if your idea is more in depth? Do you have any ideas of how the coding will work? But I love your idea, I find it very annoying when I go to a hotel and its not how it looked in the pictures.
you got my vote!
