Modern Unions for Public Companies
A franchise business to represent all workers better than unions can. Each represented worker would invest at least one share in their own business and give all their proxies to collectively vote. We would vote their proxies and work towards positions on their board to represent their interests.
Idea Description
Multinational corporations have make it too hard to form unions that represent the interests of the workers. The results have not been good for either the workers or the corporations of our world. It could get worse without a better idea. That better idea is A franchise business to represent all workers better than unions can. Each represented worker would invest at least one share in their own business and give all their proxies to collectively vote. We would vote their proxies towards positions on their board to represent their interests. We would be working towards a win for the workers and for the corporation.

Q1: How do you want to help?
I think this would be difficult to do this without becoming what you are trying to replace. There are forces at play that just make unions what they are in their nature. Who the represent, their adversaries, the law. This idea is like saying that you want to replace government with a business that will provide the services that no one else wants to. I agree that unions have gone wrong. The American auto workers have done a fantasic job representing its members. The cost-- the big three american car companies are in financial ruin. Congrats unions. Well done. Something must be done that helps unions and companies work together more effectively, just not sure this is the answer. I'd keep digging if I were you becasue this is a big problem.
