Idea Description
An grand experiment of the magnanimity of Web 2.0! The original design is philanthropic at heart, but has mushroomed into more--the will of the people. As stated in the abstract, an individual will surf to the website, having heard about if from a friend, and think cool! She will then fill out a quick form, pay her five bucks, and head off to the forums. The forums are vibrant with ideas, dialogue, and 1990-style chat room brawls. As the debate gets more intense, the vote-haul slowly grows and the better ideas fight their way to top. After the million dollar mark is broken, a majority of votes decides the beneficiary of the money. (with many details glossed over)
