As a former public school teacher and now a mother of 3 young children, I was intimately familiar with the mess and waste associated with markers, including constant runs to the office for dry erase markers and venturing under the dishwasher for stray caps. Cap Trappers allow marker users to function more effectively and efficiently by saving time, money and reducing waste from useless markers. Marker users everywhere can connect with the problem and the simple solution provided by Cap Trappers. This product is more than a solution for lost caps. It is an organizational tool, both professional and playful. This prize money would allow me bring Cap Trappers to retail shelves. Located next to the markers, Cap Trappers are an easy add-on purchase. Attending industry trade shows will allow me to reach the largest number of retailers. I would use $5K to attend the CHA trade show and $5K to produce additional molds for 8 and 10 barrel versions. Expanding my product offering to appeal to a broad target market will be a key factor as retailers consider carrying our products.
