Q1: Would you confirm a confidential desclosure that would include any company as well as parent or sister company associated with the type of product catagory submitted. I doubt it!

I like your idea; I want to improve your odds of getting funding I will vote for your idea if you will vote for mine. My idea is for a web site that raises money for inventors and entrepreneurs called New Idea website Check out my idea blob submission and visit New Idea Website and see what I can do for you. http://www.ideablob.com/ideas/4060-NEW-IDEA-WEBSITE The need for jobs is one of the biggest problems that a democratic government faces because creating jobs is an unwanted byproduct of business and industry. The reason I say its unwanted is the more jobs a business creates the more its expenses are and the smaller it’s bottom-line. If business and industry have their way they would run their companies with no jobs at all no management or labor. To deal with this dilemma I pr…moreopose a federal venture capital carrot fund that literally pays entrepreneurs to create jobs. The investment bank would be expected invest in seed level startup projects like yours and to lose money at a specified dollar per jobs ratio for example during hard times that figure may be as high as $20,000 per job and good times the figure may be as low as five dollars per job, by controlling this ratio the fed could roughly control unemployment. The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another. If you like this idea vote for it and send the congressional letter from the website. Sincerely Frank Scruggs
Patents....pretty obvious you really don't understand what they are all about. You can do a provisional patent on something, have a year to file or it dies. Lets say you do, but it takes 4 years to get that patent (i'm on one..I didnt file it, but I co-invented it...3 years ago...still in process). I can build and sell YOUR design up to the point of you getting the patent, and then I stop. You can collect nothing from me, unless I sell after the patent is awarded and THEN only what you might have lost in sales. Patents are IP for companies to buy, and also to be kept from being sued by others (why does IBM have so many, so they can claim first rights and not be sued for violation...yet they do not go after many violations). So you ask...why should I post? Sure any idea can be stolen …moreor you can steal (lets spell it right at least huh?) an idea from here, but this is a public forum to see how well your ideas fly...accepted, etc. Am I showing all of mine? By no means am I. I'm dropping things in here that I think are pretty interesting things to develop, and spawn some interest. If I see it in the marketspace (and I have seen some of my earlier ideas out there now) its a justification that I can come up with them. I am a designer, inventor, engineer and businessman. And maybe...just maybe...someone might say...good idea...lets do this...I have money, you have the engineering resources....lets make some money and maybe solve a problem the world has. OK...off my soapbox
Actually, you cannot patent ideas. You can patent methods, and you can patent designs/plans, but you most certainly cannot patent an idea. Dmalby, you're posting quite a few ideas/comments that demonstrate not only poor English skills, but also a lack of understanding of the law or business. I'd suggest that those ideas/comments are not only not helpful, but are in fact detrimental to the ideablob project.
to many great idea will bury your spirit if youcan't do anything about it, sharing idea in this forum is not only about winning the $10K price, it also about release your load and then start to fill it back with another great new idea. If you are a great thinker, why would you afraid other will steal yours? imagine the fun when other people write you email and saying thanks...I use one of your great idea and now my business is growing and i can provide better life for my family...remember when your glass is full of water then i can't fill it no more, empty the glass then you can fill it new water that even taste fresher...
I am also getting frustrated on who wins. The vending machine for Health Food is not original! It should have been thrown out. Do not, and I repeat do not place anything here unless it is protected first. For $100 you can get a "Patent Pending". Then if someone steals your idea, you can sue them. I have hundreds of ideas that I would never put on this site. I do not think this site is a popular as you might think as of yet. Look at the low vote count. The winners seem to belong to organizations or companies that can promote votes. I like to read and participate in Idea Blob but it needs some major reform.
Anyone can steal your idea, but you certainly don't have to post it here. Good luck.
