GATARE [a new type of GAme/TAlk/REality Show]
Produce a "GATARE Show" for television. This is an acronym for a GAme show/TAlk show/REality show. In Swedish, "gatare" means "gate".
Q1: Does anybody think that this is a good idea?
Idea Description
This GAME/TALK/REALITY show would be a combination of all 3 - It would primarily function as a game show. The goal would be to feature as many "Real Life" problems "out there" possible. For example, to name a few:
1)Gas prices 2)US Foreclosures 3)US Border problems 4)Homelessness 5)Hunger 6)Exploitation of women 7)Pornography 8)Prostitution 9)Illegal Drugs 10)US Energy crisis 11)Myanmar 12)Hurrican Katrina victims...to name a "few"
Then, contestants would have to compete to have the privilege to be on the show, where they debate "their solution" to the problem. Winners are selected, based upon 1 impromptu presentation & 1 written. 7 Judges pick 1 winner.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Speak with local production companies about getting a "demo" together, and/or work on developing a "pitch" for a more "solid" presentation of the idea.

Don't reality shows kind of already do this. They have games, the players talk to the camera and they also talk in tribal council situations.
