No Child Goes Hungry In The Night
As a mother, I find it unacceptable that there is even one child on earth who goes to bed hungry. The aim of No Child Goes Hungry In The Night is to raise awareness about children living in poverty and alleviate the problem as much as possible through bracelet sales. nochildgoeshungryinthenight.com
Idea Description
The aim of No Child Goes Hungry In The Night is to raise awareness about children living in poverty, with specific focus on children living in Southern California; by raising awareness I hope to encourage people to get involved in the movement to end starvation. Buying a bracelet is just the beginning; ultimately, I hope that No Child Goes Hungry In The Night can serve as an ambassador for the many non-profit organizations working to give children in Southern California a better life. Twenty-five percent of the cost of each bracelet is donated to Para Los Ninos and Saint Anne's, two non-profits servicing children in need in Southern California.

What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would invest half of the money into my company and use the other half to help Para Los Ninos plant a garden on-site so that they can provide fresh food to the children and families that they service, as well as educate people living in poverty on how to grow food for themselves. 'If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime.'

Q1: I have my ideas, I have my business plan, I have all the equipment and supplies I need to make my bracelets. My problem is that I don't know where to start in terms of marketing and approaching retail venues, etc. I don't know how to get my ideas out there, to get people to look at my website so that they can start purchasing bracelets. So far, almost everyone who has looked at my website loves it and has purchased at least one bracelet. How do I reach more people?
I totally agree :)
