Colorado Aussie Rescue
We domesticated these animals along time ago. We are responsible for there care since we took their instincts away. Not everyone is capable of physically doing something about the problem.I have the time to lesson the problem and save a few great dogs from certain death.
Idea Description
I have already started my idea @ http://www.lbcompserv.com/aussie/.First we rescue purebred Australian Shepherds from private parties, animal shelters, animal hospitals, and other rescue groups. Then we find quarters for the dog in a foster home or our main place of operation.Second we assess the dog’s personal needs and education, setup a program for that dog. Third we recruit foster homes, and thoroughly follow with them on all aspects of the adoption process. No dog is just dumped on a foster home. All of the foster homes are pre-qualified for compatibility and ability to care for the dog Fourth we accept applications and review them for prospective adoptive homes.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
All proceeds of anything I do in effort of the rescue goes to the funds for the animals. Right now we are already out of space and in need of foster homes and a larger facility. I would like to get more of them trained as services and rescue dogs. But overall the dogs come first.
Vote for it now.

Q1: Do you think that programs like prisiner reward to develope them back into sociaty, working with these animals to train them for low cost adoption of service animals is a productive idea and profits everyone involved?
Absolutely. If we are to be responsible for the birth of nature's creatures, we certainly must take up the responsibility to take care of them until their passing. Animals are neither playthings nor automata objects; they deserve as much respect and care as can be possibly given to them.
Thank you for your work. Please continue to the best of your efforts.
