Living Off Campus aims at providing a cheap and easy way for property owners and students to get together. We provide an interface and features that is unlike other property sites out there, because we cater to both sides of the transaction.

Idea Description
Living Off Campus allows property owners to list up to 5 of their properties for free, allowing them to use the site and watch it work for them.
For college students, we provide an easy to use interface for saving properties for later, taking notes on properties, hooking up with roommates to share and compare saved properties, and mapping software to show students how far the property is from campus and other important locations.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
With $10k we would invest in a two tiered marketing strategy to get the word out to property owners and students alike.
Marketing to property owners would include postcards and follow up calls, as well as personal visits to make sure that functionality is top-tier and our customers are happy.
Marketing to college students would include printing T-shirts to give out for free, flyers on campus, and possibly a sponsored event during back to school on a select campus to get the hype out about the website.
