The Harvard Voice

The Harvard Voice aims to bridge the disconnect between what students are interested in reading and what's currently being published in our community. By tapping into the myriad voices of our community, we track and cover issues of interest and concern to people both in and outside of our community.

Idea Description

The Harvard Voice is an interactive, multimedia publication comprised of a weekly print publication and an interactive multimedia web portal (www.theharvardvoice.com) that allows registered users to start their start their own blogs, submit content and rate content. Depending on their user rating, articles and blog entries will be more prominently displayed on the website alongside featured content from our staff writers, Harvard professors and leaders in the public and private sector.

We aim to empower students by giving them a voice in our media. Journalistic media, we believe, is too often characterized by a lack of responsiveness to its readership. We aim to change that.
