Idea Description
Film festivals for women are mostly about trauma, troubles and overcoming victimization. But there are a lot of funny women making movies, just no place for them to be seen. The Broad Humor Film Festival is the only place where films are both female AND funny.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Collect the films and bring them to audiences. Fund screenings in venues around the country interested in hosting this one-of-a-kind exhibition. There are a lot of places interested in a small, themed event like this. The money will be used for creating the main festival and planning the traveling tour, coordinating the venues, and creating the promotional materials for the tour.

I am so proud of your original and supportive kind of expressions of life and storylines for women in this 21st Century. It's fun and funny to be able to watch these films to rethink our roles and our experiences.

Humor is good for the soul. While you are at it have a puppet show. While you are at it have some knock, knock jokes ( or any kind), and get audience participation with your pre-printed cards (forget what they call those props) Identify the husband and wife teams in the audience, and only ask the men, the type of questions that would be on a Newlywed game questionaire. They complain? Hey sorry, its ladies night ! Fund raising idea(s)------A fund raising idea for you and all those out there. Go to..the following site. I represent one company that does this (…moresee the area we cover) but there are many suppliers out there. There is room to put 3 different businesses on a bottle of water, for advertising purposes. If you find a sponsor or two for your water, you could all 3 sell the water, and all 3 advertise your business. You can even have your own water label, and "sell" your own product. I will probably post this on other sites here on idea blob. Be sure to go to the site I mentioned for other ideas on this fundraiser project.
