Parents Need Safe and Reliable Child Transportation
My name is LaTisha, I'm a single parent & founder of Whiz Kidz Shuttle.Whiz Kidz gives parents peace of mind. We are a safe & reliable child shuttle service in PA. In this current economy parents have to work long hours,with our service, more children can participate in extra-curricular activities.
Q1: Selling has never been my strong point. I need help on what to say to get schools, child-centered programs and day cares to get them to partner up with me. How do I go about doing that? What do you think?
Idea Description
I came up with idea not to long ago because my child is involved in multiple activities and I am always stressing over how she is going to get to each of them when I'm at work.
At Whiz Kidz Shuttle, we pick children up from school & transport them to different places. We take children to after-school programs and we also take them home. My main mission is to take children to afterschool programs because their parents aren't able to.
According to the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, children who participate in after-school programs do better in school and have higher self-esteem. I want to help ease the stress of parents and get more children involved in extra-curricular activities.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
With the 10K I would put a down payment on a new 10 passenger van. I would also set up a subsidy fund of $1000 so that I could provide services on a sliding scale for low-income families. It would also give me some seed money so that I can higher my first employee.
