Q1: The airliners could improve their profit margins by introducing value adds like these. Riding a plane is as necessary and as common as driving your car nowadays, It is dull and boring. Airliners should try to bring the "experience" back. People should want to fly the plane because it rivals some of the best hotels and restaurants they could think of. My questions is do people still care?
Idea Description
Pre-ordering your food prior to your departure lessens the load on flight attendants while allowing passengers a more comfortable journey. This also saves trees as menu cards are no longer necessary. All items in the menu would describe the manner of cooking, describe whether it's spicy or not and also detail all the ingredients (important to those with allergies, I've seen people seemingly choke on flights due to nuts). This enhances the whole airline experience as they can also introduce "signature" meals from famous chefs around the world (at a premium). WInes would be better described as well as other drinks on board. Special features like duty free shopping could also be arranged.

The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another.
