Idea Description
The Heat Net comes in different lengths and widths to fit most walkways and potentially driveways. It’s a heavy duty rubber net that can be rolled out and plugged in. Once turned on the Heat Net Once plugged in generates a small amount of heat that will either melts snow that is already down or prevents snow build up on walkways. In addition because it’s made of heavy duty rubber it has grippers that allow for easy traction in case of ice buildup.

What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
I have thought about this very same idea . . .which is kinda freaky. Hope it works out. You will have to come up with measurable power usage values and a good rubber mix. Too much power and this product won't fly.
Does it use a lot of electricity? Would they be a problem to store?
Rubber, in application of extremes in heat and cold, can fall victim to its glass transition temperature, in which it loses its elasticity and becomes quite brittle. A specific, temperature insensitive, blend would need to be tested.
