  I see your concern here. I know that when I got my wisdom teeth pulled out, I ended up with a half bottle of pain killers that I didn't need anymore. So I am sure that this happens a lot with quick treatments to illnesses that are only temporary. Obviously people that have a chronic illness or disease or even something like cancer, they need to take a certain medicine their entire life, and in those situations, they wouldn't have any extra medication to donate.
  So really what you would need to do is market this idea to people that have left over pain medications or antibiotics that are necessary for people to get over short term illnesses.

  Lets take a look at this real quick, in theory this sounds like a fairly decent idea and a way to provide the underprivileged with the medication that they need. However, this would never work. Prescription medication is a very dangerous substance and there also a large amount of people who abuse the substance. Their is a very clear reason why you cannot just buy things like loritab, aderol, vivance, oxy cotton and many other drugs over the counter at your local. It is because they are very dangerous unless taken properly. Not only would this be a a huge liability to you and the people giving up there unused medication, it would also be highly illegal. you could face severe jail time for "trafficking" prescription drugs. I really do not see this idea working.

  But now that I am thinking about this a little more, I think that you need to check out some legal obligations here. First of all if you are dealing with perscription only drugs, you can get into major trouble. It is unfortunate that some of these people can't afford to go to a doctor to get a perscription and pay for the drugs as well, but you can't legally deal with these drugs in the U.S.

  I know that you aren't trying to be a drug dealer to sell to people that would abuse these drugs, but you aren't a doctor and can therefore not be able to treat someone properly by giving them drugs that they "think" they need for an illness they "think" they have.

  I agree that this is dangerous, but that doesn't mean the danger cannot be overcome.
  
  Perhaps your company, instead of allowing people to spread prescription drugs freely around the world (which is illegal), could instead work a deal with the government (which is difficult) to be allowed to purchase back unused drugs from patients. Then you can turn around and sell them legally on the internet through regular prescription-based methods. You would be able to accept prescriptions from doctors around the country -- not the world, too difficult -- and have your team of pharmacists and pharmacy techs fill the orders, and your distribution operation can do the rest. This idea has a lot of potential, just in a different approach from your own.

  Do you have any idea how dangerous this is? There's a REASON you need prescriptions for medications, and doses are designed to vary based on the needs of the individual. An ideal dosage for one person could kill another, and the directions for taking a medication can also differ based on what the patient is currently taking and their current situation (pregnant, breastfeeding, heart condition, etc.). Do you really think people who can't afford medication are going to pay to go to their doctors and make sure the free meds they got are OK for them to take?
