Indoor skydiving facility near Seattle
The NW: an adventure-loving community. Thousands of skydivers. But WA is without an indoor skydiving facility. Great for: grad nights, team building, recreational thrills, tourists, and skydivers looking to obtain certifications. With 2 museums of flight & surplus Boeing engines nearby, why not?
Idea Description
The Seattle Skydiving community makes yearly trips to CA to maximize "drop time" studying new skills: the cost of jumps grows with the cost of fuel. The local military sends personnel out of state for skydive training using indoor simulators.
Young people would love it. Teams would love it. People that always wanted to have the thrill of a jump, but want to build up some confidence before jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, would love it. Tourists would love it. It could be a fundraising nexus for many charities.
I think this is the perfect market for it. Anyone want to partner?

What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
To hire a professional team for research, business plan, investor search. After that, build the facility and launch the business.

Q1: Would it make sense to approach Boeing directly about this, as an added feature of the Museum of Flight, or should I pursue entirely independently?
Sign me up, I've always wanted to go ski diving but I'm way too afraid.
