Automobile Baby, Pets and Kids Alert for Drivers
Every once in a while, you see sad news of babies left inside a car in this very hot climate. Some survives to days/weeks of recovery, and some, helplessly suffocates to death. My idea is a warning device reminding drivers that there's a baby, child or pet in the back seat.

Idea Description
The device would be small, yet bright and loud in order to attract attention. It will have a main switch and a secondary one that will be activated by the opening of the door. I originally thought of one that will conincide with a carseat passenger (only turned on with baby on carseat) but this would not apply to pets. It would be removable so the parent can attach the device in a grandparent's vehicle. Hopefully, it can go either in a car or adapted to an SUV. An option is a parameter reminder where a keychain device will beep when the driver is a few feet away from the car. A better one/more complicated might be a block to closing the door until the reset button is pushed.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Check with manufacturers/designers/engineers into making a prototype and then either manufacture the device for sale or partner with existing brand names (e.g. safety1st) to get the product out to the public a lot faster and with greater marketing.

I would hope that the people would buy this is humble enough to be reminded. A lot of people are stressed these days and some (uncles, aunts, grandparents) are not used to having a niece/nephew/grandbaby around.
