The basic idea is to provide a local community where students can maintain all information relevant to their academic life. Students can collaborate with each other and create online study groups for exams and projects, get professor ratings, see last years grade percentages, swap notes and books, and much more! A unique application is the book swap where users input the "books they have" and the "books they need" and the system will find a match including up to five users. Meaning you give your book to one person and get the one you need from another. No more buying and selling books at the end of every semester!

The $10k reward will be helpful in the progression of the site concept. In the next six months we will be enhancing our focus from solely academics to include nearly all aspects of a student's daily life: Academics, Business, Entertainment, Housing, Marketplace, News & Issues. Our immediate next step includes incorporating a Downtown Map tied to our database of profiles (including bars, restaurants, local businesses, etc.) that maintain their own descriptive profiles to reach students in increasingly creative ways. Among these include access to OPT-IN SMS text messaging services for Lunch, Dinner, and Drink Specials, food ordering capabilities via text message from cell phones, and MORE!

The investment bank would be expected invest in seed level startup projects like yours and to lose money at a specified dollar per jobs ratio for example during hard times that figure may be as high as $20,000 per job and good times the figure may be as low as five dollars per job, by controlling this ratio the fed could roughly control unemployment. The bank will be expected to fund novel products and services and stay away from things like restaurants that will simply draw jobs from other restaurants or moving factories from one part of the country to another.
