Idea Description
THE HOTEL CREW is a collective of contemporary artists with the mission of transforming old eyesore hotels into vibrant works of art. Each artist, if selected for the project will be given between one & three rooms of the hotel to transform as they see fit. The image and quality of the hotel will be improved & elevated into a living gallery of sorts where guests can reside inside of the environments created by the artists. The project will travel from city to city improving communities appearance and economy while providing a unique opportunity to artists while promoting contemporary art. In exchange, the project will ask for a room in the new hotel to start a residency program for artists.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
A website will be set up, the first round of artist submissions will be considered, the primary city and project site will be finalized, our PR and media plan will be put into action.
